Don’t Follow the Path is a psychological horror game focused on tension, fear, and the feeling of being watched.
Set in a lonely forest, the game places you in an environment that feels familiar at first… but slowly becomes hostile, distorted, and wrong.

You are alone.
There are no weapons.
There is no clear explanation.
Only a path — and the constant feeling that you should not follow it.

As you explore the forest, strange events begin to occur.
Sounds appear behind you.
Shadows move when you are not looking.
Entities manifest only when certain conditions are met — sometimes disappearing the moment you notice them, sometimes getting closer the longer you look away.

The game relies on atmosphere over action:

• Limited visibility

• Environmental storytelling

• Sudden audio and visual disturbances

• Psychological pressure rather than constant threats

There is no traditional combat. Fear comes from uncertainty, silence, and the sense that something is learning your behavior.

This version represents:

Tone & Inspiration

The game takes inspiration from slow-burn psychological horror, where fear comes from:

• Being alone

• Not knowing what is real

• Questioning whether something actually happened

There are no cheap explanations.
Not everything is meant to be understood.
